eh no, it's not that fantastic at all, since its the eve of a working week ahead.

SIGH.

ANYWAY. i had a good saturday, shopping with miss yew, and even called kianruey to pay for us first, since we were desperate for that 30% discount from citibank cardholders. and we were so worried that his card has insufficient funds to pay for the 5 esprit items. (:

and i've gotten all that i wanted. GOOD. no more shopping for the month of july.

so we thought it was goodfellas, but to our disappointment, they were on leave. SIGH!

oh! went to visit grandma before my shopping trip with miss yew.

GOODNESS. i sweared i should have video-ed it down. the tenant's room was in a total mess, equivalent to a pig's sty. i saw the urine, the shit, the vomit mess. and me myself wanted to faint, let alone grandma.

okays, apparently we called his parents in mynamar. and we got to know that the parents are the top rich people in myanmar, and their child (the tenant) has this pyschologocial problem since he was in his teens. YES, the parents actually allowed him to drink since young, thus leading to his alcoholic abuse and dependency. he promised his parents he will quit and that's why they allowed him to come to singapore to study and stay alone. OMG. who knows he can't resist the temptation and returned back to his abuse! okays, he actually didn't realise he created such a huge mess!

YESH, the parents called their friends in singapore to search for him, and they returned back to my grandma's hse yest night to pack up and leave, ONLY AFTER HE DRANK 5 BOTTLES OF BEER. he just need the bottles of beer to gain his strength for daily rountine. okays, they apologised and we forgave. we just need the assurance that he will not return to harm my grandma. and i just need to remind grandma every now and then to control her blood pressure.

poor grandma, what a shock she got.

and my cousin went for some best couple competition in snowcity and he and his fiancee won the competition. that's it. their wedding package is sponsored! WLAU. how lucky.

it's a erm, a ladies' film. (: the entire theatre was filled with movie goers of my gender. (: it's nice, realistic and heart warming when carrie and miranda finally reconciled with their guys.

it's a nice film, to the girls lar. (: girl friends are still the best, the ones who are willing to be there for one another when love has broken.

HMM. talking about psychology.. poor grandma, i think her tenant is suffering from alcoholic syndrome or something. he did the worst thing which all of us could imagine. he actually shit, pee, vomit and messed up the entire room! and there were about 2 dozens of beer bottles in his room, spilling all over, and his money was all over the room. it was in a total mess. my cousin went in and got a great shock. and my grandma nearly fainted due to high blood pressure. GOSH. and we had no choice but to call the police, since he refused to open the door when we found smth was amiss. the property agent who recommended him to my grandma came, called his relatives and parents, no replies and etc. YAH. and when the police came, he actually wanted to hit my grandma and he even sweared and shouted at my grandma for calling the policeeeeee..

OH MY GOD. imagine how afraid my grandma turned. but bravey grandma had put up a strong front. (: the police couldn't get him move out of the house because he was DRUNK when they arrived. so they only managed to chase him out of the house for tonight. and the police were smart enough to know that he would return back to 'seek revenge'. they stationed for 1 hour, and saw him running back with a bottle of beer in his hands. SHEESH.

YESH, we are very worried now. i mean, you don't know what will happen tonight, especially the police have already left my grandma's place, and only my grandma is at home now. RAHH! okays, we've gotten my uncle to stay in with her for tonight. haha! funny thing is they don't dare to sleep now. and we suggest them to play poker with each other. (:

OKAYS, we shall see what happens tmr. i think he's suffering from alcoholic syndrome. he used to be erm, normal looking 3-4mths back? SIGH

grandma is brave. i just hope her blood pressure won't shoot up tonight.

and of course i hope the tenant won't return back tonight to seek revenge.

THATS IT. i will end up clearing my emails on monday. i should have brought back the laptop. AHHH! but i'm just an intern, they don't expect me to work during weekends uh! ): SIGH!

KLAGENFURT, Austria (AFP) - Croatia need to put together a much more convincing performance against Euro 2008 co-favourites Germany here on Thursday if they are to really reflect the confidence their coach Slaven Bilic has that they can win the title.

I remembered I’d came across this article when I took Personality and Individual Differences.

It was named as, the new science of happiness.

One of the happiness boosters that the researchers found, is the gratitude diary, a diary in which we write down things for which they are thankful. and today, I’m going to write mine.

I’m thankful for everything that brings me come so far. every steps I’d walked, I’m thankful for all the wonderful people that I have in my life. Thanks for the love, the forgiveness, the chances and the guidances.

life is never easy, nevertheless, do remember to be happy.

work is tiring.

i just pray for SAF Day to hurry come and hurry go. THEN, i can slack. (:

banner/backdrop etc all not confirmed. SIGH, and the event is on 1st July. okays, i am sure when adults are planning the event, it definitely won't screw up. (: if not the deputy principal of RP will be sacked, since he is the chairman of this ceremony. (:

and i'm glad i left a good impression in dy principal! (: he's awed by my ideas and the way i present myself in meetings. HAHA! it's good in a way because come on! its the dy principal of RP okays! but it has its cons as well. there are staff who are not happy with me because i'm just an intern, i should just keep quiet and do the sai kang you see. AIYAH. i know what to say and what not to say. i suggest some stuff because it's necessary to bring it out so that the ceremony will be smooth sailing.

OH WELL, as madm zu said, working life is always like that. (: i just need to know what to do is right and what is wrong. i'm glad i'm taking leave on friday! (: i need a long sleep, and i need to swim and i need to meet guimei and nelson they all!! WAHAHAH! how i miss them mans!

went praying at a few temples with mum. i mean, at least she will not worry so much for me uh? (:

so initially i wanted to da xiao ren (the voodoo thingy). HAHAH. but i was thinking its too evil of me to do that, although the act itself can make me feel better! (: but anyway, mum got me to pray for the God (hu ye) that shoo away the hindrance and the irritating people in my life. HAHA. i just hope things ahead of my life would be better and smooth sailing after i prayed.

THEN, we went to the temple at bugis. okays, mummy always brought my brother and i to that temple when we were young. come to think of it, it's been 9 years since i last went there. felt quite guilty when i stepped inside the temple today. i mean, i went there to pray today because of my RP incident. if it didn't happened, i wouldn't go there and pray you see. BAHH. OKAYS, i apologised.

and!!! i went to draw the lots. it's my 1st time i did such thing can! and! it was a bad lot. SIGH. everything in my life, from studies to my overall luck will not be successful. i need to wait till the clouds are being cleared, and the luck will come in. but for now, i need to be cautious. and the interpretator was saying that i need to be extremely becareful at work, because smth bound to happen (which is true). and i need to put in alot of effort in studies in order to achieve what i want (which is true also, i need to study freaking hard to get my hons). and he also mentioned that my family would be in trouble (i'm kinda bothered by this) and that my health will deteriorate. SHEESH.

OKAYS, he mentioned smth good. hahaha. my mum asked him about my LOVE LIFE. and he said the only good luck i have is in my love life. i will meet someone. WTH. hahaha. and i was telling mummy that things which i don't really desire have the good luck, and things which i look forward have that bad luck. RAHHH.

OKAYS, i shall not be supersitious and affect me uh. (:

some of my friends might be looking forward to this post since i said i will post this up. (:

OKAYS, my eyes are SWOLLEN. i've cried too much. it was a shocking experience to me.

SO THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED.

my colleague jeanette went to the ladies and left her phone + staff ID on the shelf above the toilet bowl in the 2nd cubicle. so she came out, and forgot about her belongings. I DIDN'T KNOW THAT. so i was the first person to enter the ladies after she came out. the CCTV at the corridor leading to the toilet captured that. and 8 minutes later, another staff from the other dept went in the toilet.

SO, jeanette reported lost of her phone after she realised it. the staff ID was found and retrieved in the toilet but not the phone. so she made a report to the necessary authorities in RP.

SO, they checked through the cctv and saw me. obviously i was the 1st suspect, so i got called up for questioning. i'm fine with the 1st questioning, since Lincoln(the so called RP investigator and ex policeman) just asked me about the time i went in toilet, which cubicle i went in and did i see anything.

and obviously 2nd and 3rd questioning weren't pleasant at all. because he said he found my statements too inappropriate and untrue already. SO this was my replies to his questions:

lincoln: how many times you went to the toilet

me: 3 times; 8 plus, 10plus and 11 plus.

lincoln: jeanette went in at 11 plus too, right after she came out, the cctv caught you going in.

me: okays, so i was the first to enter after she came out?

lincoln: yes, which cubicle did you go into?

me: the 2nd one.

lincoln: she went to the 2nd one as well, did you see anything in the cubicle? why you enter the 2nd cubicle?

me: no definite reason, but i just prefer the 2nd cubicle, have been entering that since i started work 1 month ago. and i didn't see anything in the cubicle. maybe becuz the toilet bowl wasn't flushed, so when i first entered the cubicle, the first thing i observed and caught my attention was the unflushed bowl, thus i flushed it straight and use it straight. maybe that's the reason why i didn't observe other things?

lincoln: the cctv caught you, and you seemed to use the toilet quite fast.

me: HUH? how long do us need to take to go for just a pee? obviously it will take fast isnt it?

lincoln: i just need to tell you the consequences of theft is serious. if you steal it, please return it to us, and we won't report to the police. we will just end it here.

me: huh? you mean you suspect me? please, i din't steal it, so don't malign me. and i understand the consequences of theft, i won't be so stupid to commit such petty crime. (by the time, i get quite pissed and rude to him since he started his malignment on me)

lincoln: alot of students told me the exact thing, but the next few days they came back to me and returned me the stuff they stole.

me: okays, but rest assured i won't look for you in the next few days, since i didnt' steal the phone?

SO, he took my number, and said he will seek for my cooperation for further investigation. no problem, i'm fine with it, since i'm innocent!

yah, then he called me, and said he needs to talk to me, so we went to a meeting room, and he started to accuse me and insisted that it was me who stole it.

lincoln: i just need to tell you, its between me and you now, please admit that you've stolen the phone and we will put a rest in this.

me: impossible, i didn't steal the phone, so i shouldn't admit anything isnt it?

lincoln: don't force me to call the police, cuz it won't do you any good, and if you're convicted, you'll get a jail of 7 years and maybe a fine.

me: go ahead with the police investigations, i'm fine with it.

lincoln: you will need to go through the lie detector if we submit it to the police

me: yah, i'm fine with it, i'm innocent, everything i've said is true

lincoln: okays, then we'll see about it, if you want to admit, you can call me

me: like what i've said, impossible.

so i start to cry already, because i thought, going thru police investigations meant my record will be there, and they will retrieve my record from nus, so it will definitely stain my clean record you see.

and daphne and jeanette came to console me, almost the entire OHR came and console me lar.. and daphne was angry with lincoln, because he was way too intimidating. (: DUH! (: and she reported to warren, the director of lincoln's. (:

so warren said there won't be any police investigations.

and 3rd questioning by lincoln came, in the same room.

lincoln: we've just questioned the 2nd suspect, she said she only saw the staff ID, but not the phone. and you said you dint see anything, so this is very contradicting.

me: like what i've said, the moment i went in the toilet, i only observed the unflushed toilet, that caught my attention instead, so maybe the phone and the ID were there, but i didnt see it.

lincoln: you are making things difficult for me right now. please don't cry

me: i'm sorry to do that, but i guessed you've intimidated me, and i cried not because i'm guilty but the fact that a police investigation will tarnish my future, even that i'm innocent, it will still have a record isnt it?

lincoln: yah, i understand, that's why i don't wish to go to the police, i hope you understand my stand, and i hope you will admit if its you.

me: impossible, as i've said earlier. and i understand your stand, and i really hope you put in your best to really find the real culprit. i don't wish to be maligned just like that.

lincoln: so you think i did my part already? and i should just hand the damn thing to the police and whoever got convicted will deserve the sentencing?

me: of course. the culprit made me gone through such, and like what i've said, i seriously will demand an apology from you should you malign me, and cause me to have a record in my profile.

lincoln: i ask you last time, did you steal it?

me: i'll tell you the last time, i didn't. please go ahead with the investigations by the police if necessary.

okays. i really started to sob hard in the office till everyone at OHR came and asked me if i'm alright. (: i cried because of the police and the record thing, not because of others. and i will be so maligned because i'm obviously innocent and they caused me to have a record.

YESH, so i went home with jie ying, and apparently jie ying was being questioned by lincoln in recognising the 2nd suspect on cctv. (: and actually lincoln told jie ying he suspects the 2nd staff more than me.

so i called nelson, and he's knowledgeable. (: he told me that there will not be any record being left in my profile for just a pure questioning by the police. unless i'm convicted, there will not be any record. (: then, he was saying lincoln should jolly well go and die and i should sue him for defamation since he kept accusing me of stealing the phone and forcing me to admit. HAHA. and nelson also said lincoln made a grave mistake by just asking me in the room ALONE with him for questioning, without any recording or a 3rd party. (: and everyone is innocent until being convicted! HAHA, so he should not accuse me that i've stolen it! WAHAHA. to think lincoln was an ex-police uh!

OKAYS, now i shall have no worries for police investigations. (: i told jeanette to report to the police. (: don't mind going thru the questioning and the lie detecting thing. (: i'm innocent lar. (:

and to the one who stole the phone, i hope God will make her feel the guilt and she will confess soon. (: she caused me to be so traumatised, she should be punished. (:

OH, lincoln was asking me if i've stolen anything before. i said no, and he was telling me that in the past he did and etc, and i feel like saying 'cuz you are stupid'. OKAYS, i didn't. HAHA

yucks. he caused me to cry like no one's business and caused my eyes to swell and now my head hurts.

OKAYS, on a lighter note, my long awaited chelsea-adidas jacket is here! WHEE. but it's abit tight at my wasit level. OH DEARRRR. its okays. i need to just diet off my fats. (: and it will be nice and fitting. LALALA.

dad is still in overseas. it's almost 2 months.

but thank goodness he wasn't affected by the cyclone in myanmar. we were quite worried that time because he was at there. but he called back, and reported his safety to us! (: he's in thailand now. safe and sound.

and i look forward to his return, partly because he will give us money! LALALA. okays, i'm not that heartless. (: i'd miss his presence.

CHIJ St Theresa's Convent hopes to field hockey team at YOG

SINGAPORE: CHIJ St. Theresa's Convent is aiming to field its hockey team at the 2010 Youth Olympic Games (YOG). No surprises here since five of its former students are currently in the National Women's Hockey Team.

The school is already holding trials to select a team to compete in the YOG.

The school's hockey team has done well since 1969. And since then, some players have gone on to play for the national team.

Others have returned as coaches. One of them is Hemalatha Arudas.

She said: "I believe that what I have, I have to return to St. Theresa's Convent because I studied here for four years."

She is now helping to select the team to represent Singapore at the Youth Olympic Games in 2010.

Leslie Francis, HOD Pupil Development, CHIJ St. Theresa's Convent, said: "Basically, we are going to send our girls for the YOG trials and we're hoping to send as many as we can.

"The exposure will be good because it will hype up the girls and they would definitely want to represent the country because it's going to be a milestone event for the girls as well as for the country."

However, even if they do not make it, the girls said that being a part of a school tradition keeps them going.

Kristel Sebastian, Secondary 3 Student, Hockey Team, CHIJ St. Theresa's Convent, said: "I feel that STC is very (well) known for their hockey and it's an honour to be part of this tradition."

CHIJ St. Theresa’s Convent will be moving to a new campus in November, but the school said training sessions will not be affected.
