singapore won the bid! (:

i'm happy, of course.

winning the bid means:

1) maybe i can get tickets to watch the competitions(that is if the tickets are affordable)

2) singapore's economy would flourish like no one's business! (oh please, i'm such a realistic person! such things do make singapore's economy prosper and do us good, you know!)

3) being a patriot, i would definitely say this winning bid has(will) make singapore more well known and being singaporean, i feel so proud seeing this! (:

APPLAUSE! (:

but if you really think about it, in most cases, hosting city/country will have ALOT of athletes taking part in the competitions, and usually, the host will emerge top overall.

HMM, however... i have this feeling that singapore wouldn't be able to achieve this! OH WELL! we have slightly more than 2 years to train our national athletes. (: maybe i should have more confidence uh! according to social cognitive theory:

outcome expectancies -> greater confidence -> behavioral change

therefore, i should change my expectations for the outcome! SINGAPORE WILL BE ABLE TO ACHIEVE THIS! (:

talking about theories and psychology related matters, my pediatric psy mid term quiz was alright. i mean, it wasn't that kinda university leveled kinda test lar. fill in the blanks as i've said in my previous post, and all the answers are so direct. it is really damn direct and easy and can be found from the lecture notes!

there's pros and cons to it lar!

pros = pple do well in the test, including me.
cons = doing well means the distribution curve will skew to the right, more people doing well, mean score will be higher as well. therefore, it is kinda useless, too. ):

and i made a number of mistakes. one of which is a careless mistake, which made me so pissed with myself. SIGH. too kay-kiang(act smart) already. ):

IT'S OKAYS, i shall see how the marking goes and how the results vary across. (:

another test to go tomorrow! (: i am still struggling with the physics concepts. thank goodness i took bio during jc. half of the load's gone. (: it's only the physics part. any physics tutor? (:

ANW, please remind me to fast for 8 hours. i've full medical check up tmr. and please pray that i am not diagnosed with any illness, for i will end my life right away. (:

last paper to go before mid term break starts. come on ping. (:
