lunar new year is the peak period for stuffing myself with food, and more food. (: from pineapple tarts to love letters to bak kua to almond cookies to all the ingredients in steamboat. (: i cannot believe i've eaten 5 rounds of steamboat so far. this is bad. okays, it's okays. eat first, work out later. (: make sure i work out then! (:

first day of cny is always the busy day because of the visiting. this year we had a special guest at grandma's house. guan was invited to come over to grandma's hse and experience the cny mood. so we had all the cny goodies for him and showered him with all the warm hospitality and the festive mood, and he reciprocated by singing to us his hometown songs(vietnamese songs). he's a nice guy mans. damn friendly and comical. haha. and my mum had endless chat with him, even wanted to help him matchmake. omg. oh well, that's my mum. (:

ALRITEY, in case you are wondering who's guan. he's the guy who did that 'my bedroom's over there' in the mocca advertisement. (: hahaha. a friendly guy i must say. and he don't look that muscular actually. (: he has a nice voice, and he sings well. oh well, he promised that he will perform that act again during my cousin's wedding, and he will sing for the couple. (:

cny is always the period when all my cousins get together and chat about one another's life. okays! now i noe my cousin is working for nike's design and advertisement, and he created the latest nike's advertisement. WOAH! (: and i can get nike stuff for 50%. -scream- on the other hand, i can get 30% for sony products too, since my cousin-in-law is working there. COOL! (:
