FIRST,

i think he should address the issue of fear of US economy earlier! not till all the shares have dropped till so much and he appeared out of nowhere to ask for confidence in US markets.

haven't he realised that US market is the biggest and the most influential; that if US economy were to fall, the rest of the global markets will have the domino effect?

SECONDLY,

he spent billions of taxpayers' money on the war against terrorism - primarily in the case of war in Iraq, and he raised so much awareness and confidence that USA could counteract this, is it being done so far? i'm afraid not. the world is still living in fear of terrorism. you can imagine how the world would react in chaos and be apprehensive if osama bin laden decided to act in certain ways towards the allies of USA in his proclaim of God.

Mr Bush also said his troop "surge" in Iraq was succeeding after a long and costly war, and that al-Qaeda was "on the run" and would be defeated.

and this is what our dear US president assured us.

and dear Bush, you've left with 357 days in power. (: do show us something optimistic and overwhelm us with something. you were once inspirational, remember the good old days? (:

GOODBYE BUSH, HELLO OBAMA/MRS CLINTON, or MAYBE MRS HILLARY would be a nicer term. (:
